Commonly known as string-of-pearls, with her creeping, perennial, succulent vines. Native to the drier parts of Southwest Africa. In her natural environment, her stems trail on the ground, rooting where they touch and form dense mats. As an indoor plant, she looks amazing hanging up with her plump pearls cascading down.
In the summer months, the String of Pearls plant produces clusters of white blooms, and like most succulents, she is very easy to grow.
Placing your plants a few feet away from the window should provide her with perfect light. Live in a darker home? Don't worry, she's a bit of a shady character too! Just remember to keep her warm.
The String of Pearls prefers the “soak and dry” method of succulent watering with well draining soil and mimics a flood and drought cycle of her natural enviroment. It’s simple, low-maintenance plant.
